"In 2010-2011 I was invited to work with 2 groups of students within the framework of « Territoires sonores, portée art’ur, réseau d’action culturelle des lycées agricoles publics des Pays de La Loire » in the cities of Saint-Herblain (Nantes) and La Roche-sur-Yon.
We then worked for a few months listening, recording and composing with the sound environment of the students.

I was particularly interested in one of their recording session made within the Conservatory of Music (La Roche-sur-Yon): hearing the instruments (Piano, trumpets, percussion, voices), as through the walls, in the corridors …. it sounded good, like a real basis for a sound maze, a puzzle. This recording became my working basis for what I called “my first pop piece”, which is a real labyrinth, a glimpse of the building, of its architecture… then we go deeper and deeper into it… "
